Arts Office
The arts scene throughout the Institute is supported by fulltime Arts Officer Sarah Morey. The role of the Arts Office is to work with students and staff in developing and supporting arts related projects and to promote and programme arts activities in all campuses. The Cork Institute of Technology offers students a wonderful opportunity to engage with and develop their talents, meet new friends and get involved in the arts.
CIT recognises that the arts should be an integral part of life for students and staff, and has invested significant funds to develop dedicated professional Performance Theatres and Exhibition Spaces.
The Institute has an extensive programme of exhibitions, concerts, and theatrical productions throughout the year – showcasing the talented artists, musicians, and actors of the CIT Crawford College of Art & Design and the CIT Cork School of Music; along with more established artists working in their chosen profession.
The Arts Office manages the CIT Art Collection, which is displayed throughout the Institute, and also co-ordinates ArtsFest, CIT's annual celebration of the Arts.
